Az egyik első Szabdkőműves szervezetet
Az egyik első Szabdkőműves szervezetet, amelyre mint a Magyar
királyi korona alatti szabadkőművesség kezdetére tekintünk, Draskovich
János gróf és Niczky István gróf hozták létre. Draskovich rendi neve
Jacobus, és Niczky-é Hyeronimos volt. A Horvátország, Magyarország,
Ausztria, Szlovákia, Románia területére kiterjedő új Nagypáholyt
Brezovicában hozták létre 1772-ben, és “Latomia Libertatis sub Corona
Hungariae in Provinciam redactae”, nevet kapta, amely röviden:
“Draskovich Observance” néven ismert. Az alapító okiratot latin nyelven
írták, és tartalmazza a szabadkőművesség részletes leírását, a katonai,
nevelési, vallási, gazdasági és politikai kérdéseket, és lefektet egy
alapszabályt is, - és részletesen tárgyalja a tagok kötelességeit és a
páholyi rangokat is.
Dr. Reininger Alice professzor-asszony “Der
Draskovich-Observanz” címen egy alapvető könyvet és tanulmányokat írt a
Szabadkőművesség 18. századi történetéről, és részletesen tárgyalja az
1772 és 1795 közötti eseményeket, külön fejezetben írja le Draskovich
János gróf életrajzát is. A páholyok Varasd-on, Agram-ban (ma Zágráb),
Károlyváros-ban, Eszék-en, Pesthen (Budapest), Bratislava-án
(Pozsonyban), Lika-ban, Kőrös-ön, Glina-n, Otocsán-ban és Temesvár-on
létesültek. A könyv nagyon sokoldalú, fordítják angolra és folyamatban
van magyarra fordítása is. Sajnos csak Reininger tanárnő saját sebét
terhelő 1000 Euró áll rendelkezésre, és a magyar fordítás befejezéséhez
és a könyv kiadásához további 9000 Euróra lenne szükség. Ezért kérjük,
szíveskedjenek támogatni ennek a fontos műnek a Magyar-országon való

One of the first Freemason organizations in Austrian - Hungarian Monarchy in 18th century. Draskovic Observance.
One of the first Freemason organisations, which is considered as the
beginning of Freemasonry under the Hungarian crown was formed by count
John (Ivan, Johann, János) Draskovich (Drašković) and count Stjepan
(Stefan) Niczky. Draskovich took the name Jacobus, and Niczky took the
name Hyeronimos. The new Grand Lodge under the Hungarian crown was
founded in the castle Brezovica in 1772, and was called “Latomia
Libertatis sub Corona Hungariae in Provinciam redactae”, which can be
called in a short form: “Draskovich Observance”. The original text has
been written in Latin, and contains a basic description of all aspects
of the Masonic activities, including the personal work and degrees as
well. The fields discussed are: military, education, religion, economy,
policy, and presents a constitution.
Dr. Alice Reininger studied the original documents of the
history of 18th century Freemasonry, kept in the archives of Vienna.
Budapest and Zagreb, and has written dawn the results in a form, easily
understandable for the wide public, including the biography of count
Draskovich. In her great book, accompanied by important particular
studies, she has put together the history of Freemasonry under the
Hungarian crown between 1772 and 1785. Lodges were established in
Varaždin (Varasd), Agram (today Zagreb, Zágráb), Carlovac (Karlstadt,
Károlyváros), Osijek (Esseg, Eszék), Pesth (Budapest), Bratislava
(Presburg, Pozsony), Lica (Lika), Križevci (Kreuz, Kőrös), Glina, Otočac
(Ottochaz, Otocsán) and Temišvar (Timisoara, Temeswar, Temesvár). The
book is extremely many-sided, its translation to English, and to
Hungarian is going on, but the expenses of translation and publication
are high, (about 10 000 Euros), and we need more money to the
